We don't support Xquartz on anything but 10.5. I followed the instructions of the fink project.org FAQs to uninstall my previous fink (which was working fine with snow leopard and a previous Xcode version), then I followed the instructions to install (bootstrap) fink for lion. This all went fine, but if I want to install packages with fink I am always getting the same error: > > Can't resolve dependency for "x11-dev" > > What clue am I missing in the whole installation process? > > Thanks, > Joe. > > As I said, we don't support Xquartz. That means that if you don't also have the regular Apple X11 and its SDK from Xcode you won't be able to build X11 packages with Fink. Please post the output of fink-virtual-pkgs --debug 2>&1 | grep -C 8 x11-dev -- Alexander Hansen, Ph.D. Fink User Liaison http://finkakh.wordpress.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Got Input?
