Hi, Thanks for being so helpful. I don't what to give up just yet. I'm not sure how to 'build this package by restoring the old /usr/bin/gcc-4.2'
I was wondering if there is a way to remove everything I have installed and then start fresh from the beginning to prevent any corrupted or older versions of files interfering with what I'd like to do? It might be a bug in the fink code. Unfortunately I don't have access to a 10.6 environment right now to test this issue, and mine doesn't have Xcode 4.2 in any case. You might be able to build this package by restoring your old /usr/bin/gcc-4.2. -- Alexander Hansen, Ph.D. Fink User Liaison My package updates: http://finkakh.wordpress.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Learn Graph Databases - Download FREE O'Reilly Book "Graph Databases" is the definitive new guide to graph databases and their applications.
