Hi. Because of the changes made at sourceforge, doing a fink install from source at the moment is very difficult, perhaps impossible. However, a binary install works fine. What you need to do is, immediately after installing, run "fink selfupdate-cvs". This updates the package location descriptions in fink's info files, to download from the new sourceforge mirror structure.
