Big pity.

Wrong argument. LinuxTag is not an exactly matching name. It is about Free
software. Fink is Free too, isn't it? And there are quite a few *BSD types
to be met there too....

OK -- guess, everybody needs to accept these kind of arguments

Oh -- there is hope? Well, then you'll be able to explain to some people
about Fink. I would even grant you 15 minutes at the beamer of our booth
(Linuxprinting.org, just beside the KDE booth...). And maybe to talk to
KDE-ers could also be interesting, in case you don't know them yet...

ah, good hint. I would have used LD_PRELOAD and then given up for a
while.... ;-)

I don't know any details, but have heard about some changes to that effect.

You're in possesion of a "Jaguar"?

I was offered one too, but had to decline. I am writing about the forthcoming
CUPS printing system in 10.2, but using Jaguar would have required to sign
a NDA which would prevent me from writing about it....

Did you bother to get in touch with Mike Sweet about it? Mike is the lead
developer of CUPS and very responsive for these kind of reports and suggestions...

Does "unstable" always mean "CVS"?

I can access CVS through our proxy -- but only from Linux so far...

*Four* days. Starts Thursday, ends Sunday. Building the booth and installing
the machines from Tuesday evening...
