I didn't find Gimp-Print on any of the lists. Gimp-Print is the ideal completion of CUPS. It can act as a raster driver using CUPS-raster as its input, spitting out printer-specific data. There are currently 120 models directly supported (which according to Linuxprinting.org is in reality more than 300 due to the emulations some of them are able to perform.) Especially on Epsons there is a Photo-like quality to be achieved which is on par or superior to the output of native Epson drivers made for Windows. During Linuxtag we hope to greatly improve the quality for the Canon printers, while a Gimp-Print developer is there, who has not had access to the latest models for testing and tuning and there he will.... > > Cheers, > > Max Bye, Kurt _______________________________________________________________ Don't miss the 2002 Sprint PCS Application Developer's Conference August 25-28 in Las Vegas -- http://devcon.sprintpcs.com/adp/index.cfm _______________________________________________ Fink-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-devel
