I think you're wrong, just anecdotally, since all the people I know who like PC's are never switching to Macs. It's all the unix people. Sometimes you get someone who goes from Windows -> linux -> Mac. I had no idea that fink was supposed to be a be-all and end-all. Of all the OSX users I know, only the unixy people use fink. There are plenty of double-clickable packages out there to make the Mac useful without ever having to type in a terminal window. Personally, I'd like to see more people stick to the double-clicky things if they can't figure things out. > I'm very uncertain how much OS X is Unix now, and it will be. But I can see how the mitten people are taking over again, since my three-button mouse is acting like a one-button mouse in X11. -- Hisashi T Fujinaka - [EMAIL PROTECTED] BSEE (6/86) + BSChem (3/95) + BAEnglish (8/95) + $2.50 = mocha latte ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.NET email is sponsored by: SourceForge Enterprise Edition + IBM + LinuxWorld = Something 2 See! http://www.vasoftware.com _______________________________________________ Fink-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-devel
