Just so fink users who may not have been around forever may be aware, this is not an unimportant issue. As those of us who have been around from the beginning certainly remember, one of the earliest driving forces in the fink project was a fellow named Christof. As far as I know it was his vision that got fink underway initially. He shepherded fink out of its infancy and into a totally usable system. But, after taking so much grief from people who made demands on his time and expertise not requests, Christof threw up his hands and said to "hell with it." It was a real loss to project. Fortunately there have been enough determined and talented individuals to keep fink growing and improving. If anyone of the developers or maintainers leave because they are just tired of the project or no longer have the time to devote to the project that's fine. But I'd hate to see any one else leave the project because he or she felt their efforts were unappreciated or taken for granted. That's the only reason I may be hypersensitive to this issue.
