Hey, that's it! Now it is fine again.

But as Martin also wrote ...

In addition, MacGimp may have installed Jaguar-incompatible crap into /usr/local, for example /usr/local/lib/libgcc.dylib

... this file didn't exit. Do I have to look for something else?

Would you suggest in general to make a clean install without any MacGimp-traces, or is there a way to make sure that there is no Gimp crab anymore?

Anyway, thank you very much for now -

steffen

That's normal: grep is searching your whole filesystem.

Try Martin's suggestion, by running:

sudo perl -pi -e 's|init/tcsh|tcsh/examples|g' /etc/csh.*

in your terminal window.

 Welcome to Darwin!
/usr/share/init/tcsh/rc: No such file or directory.

 grep: Applications/DVD
 Player.app/Contents/Frameworks/DVDPlayback.framework/Headers: No such
 file or directory

the output came immediately but the harddisk did a working sound for about 3 minutes longer...
