Jens et al: By popular demand, I've now added a lyx-qt package to fink. It uses qt-x11 compiled with g++2, and seems to work fine (it indeed does solve the meta key problem with xforms and Apple X11). Just fink-selfupdate cvs; fink install lyx-qt to get it.
