Have you tried <parameters>-s</parameters> in mysql.xml (after the <executable> field) ?
mysql.xml wouldn't be touched by the daemonic update, but would, however, be modified by a mysql update. Alexander K. Is it safe to edit /sw/etc/daemons/mysql.xml directly and simply reboot? What happens with the next daemonic update? mysql version 3.23.56-1 daemonic version 20010902-1 fink package manager version 0.13.5 fink distribution version 0.5.3.cvs mac os x 10.2.6 Thanks, Dan -- <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <http://www.tombstonezero.net/dan/> An omer is a tenth of an ephah. -- Exodus 16:36. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: Free pre-built ASP.NET sites including Data Reports, E-commerce, Portals, and Forums are available now.
