Actually I was afraid that your Apple X11 was already corrupt, but fortunately this doesn't seem to be the case.

I think the only other virtual package in Alexander's list that replaces a previously existing real system-* package is system-perl. But problems with that one don't hit ordinary people, only perl freaks who mostly deserve what they are getting :-)
