There's a new pkgconfig for panther but not for tiger (apparently
because SF CVS broke when I was committing). Does the error on Panther
go away if you revert to the previous pkgconfig?
At least it makes gkt+2 2.4.9 pass correctly the test for pango.
I'm currently building gtk+2, then I'll tell you the result for
bluefish.
By the way the problem should affect all packages which builds with
gtk+2.
With pkgconfig version 0.15.0-2, gtk+2-2.4.9 compiles and subsequently
bluefish compiles.
