After a selfupdate and update-all yesterday on a dual-G5 under OSX
10.4, ATLAS 3.7.10-1 failed to install.
I'm using gcc 4.0 and XCode 2.0 and have checked the ATLAS error page
but found no issues related to this platform. During the build, I
selected the appropriate fields as usual. In particular, I don't recall
selecting anything having to do with a x86-32 platform!!! See the
error messages below ("This kernel requires gas x86-32 assembler!")
There are also "internal compiler error"s which makes me wonder if I
need XCode 2.1 for some reason which I don't understand. Are these
known issues?
