Hi,
this is about fink's imagmagick (version 6.1.8-1), but I observed this
with a non-fink imagemagick installation as well (hence the [OT]
label):
Under OS X10.4 running Apple X11, imagemagick's display utility doesn't
function properly.
I tried to do "display somefile.png", and the image is opened nicely.
The next step was to click on the image in order to launch another
window containing menus like "File", "Edit", "View", etc. These menus
appear but don't respond to mouse clicks. It made no difference whether
or not X11 had click-through enabled or not.
The same version of fink's imagemagick-display works (and always has
worked) flawlessly under Panther.
I'm installing xorg X11 now, to see if this is an Apple-X11 bug (the
usual suspect). Maybe someone here already knows the answer?
