All R.app really gives you is syntax-colouring and a Quartz output device.
You don't need these in order to use Fink's R, you can just run the "R"
command in the shell and use X11. Works fine, especially after I put
together a BBEdit language module for it. The Quartz output *is* much nicer
though :)
