Thanks, that fixed it.  Should I submit this to the matplotlib  
maintainer?

Some of the requests I sent earlier in the summer.  I'll try sending a  
note to fink-devel now.  I understand the "being busy with other  
things" problem.

which looks like a version of the Debian BTS, which works quite well.   
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to do anything (searching for bugs, or  
using direct links, etc. all give file not found errors).  I'm  
assuming this is an old page that hasn't been touched in a while?   
Should it be removed, or could such a BTS be reborn?  I quite like  
Debian's reportbug system.
