Of course. Gnuplot was a more pressing need for me so I wanted to get that resolved first, and now I need to focus on generating the graphs I needed yesterday. I've already contacted the svn maintainer about my problem, but he wasn't able to help me. When I get some time I'll start a new thread for that problem in case someone here can figure it out. For the time being I'm just using /usr/bin/svn.
