When I start gnome-session, gnome-settings-daemon quits. Apples X11 loads as
does gnome, but the windows are not within window frames, so windows can not be
moved. The desktop is crippled. Does anyone else have or had this problem?
Any help would be appreciated. I do not know whether I have every package that
I need of gnome installed or this is simply a new problem. I do have
bundle-gnome v.2.20.0-1 installed. I am running intel 64-bit on a MacBookPro.
My kit is as follows:

Apple X11 (version for Snow Leopard) v.2.3.6
OSX 10.6.6
i686-apple-darwin10-gcc-4.2.1 (GCC) 4.2.1 (Apple Inc. build 5664)
Xcode 3.2.5
Package manager version: 0.29.19
Distribution version: selfupdate-rsync Sat Feb 12 14:19:24 2011, 10.6, x86_64

Hopefully, this is a problem that has already been solved. Thanks for any help.
