sox doesn't carry a dependency any automake or autoconf.  Try installing
the individual packages that are listed when you do "fink install sox".

As I've said before, I had thought that we fixed all of the instances
where a single package has the now-contradictory combination of autoconf
and automake1.11.  If that is indeed the case, then instances of this
issue are _not_ bugs in any particular package, and the same workaround
applies.
