It's available.
The error message doesn't mean what you think it does. Try "fink
install autoconf" if you don't think I know what I'm talking about.
The problem, assuming that we didn't miss fixing any single-package
issues, that there are multiple packages in the dependency tree, some of
which use automake1.11 -> automake1.11-core, which only allows
autoconf2.6, and some of which use autoconf, and the dependency engine
can miscalculate.
