(The suggested commands are derived solely from Fink's inability to
install autoconf, without any deeper analysis)
autoconf doesn't have a problem, as such. The problem is that packages
can no longer build depend on autoconf and automake1.11 simultaneously.
The error is indicating that automake1.11 is already installed, which
requires autoconf2.6, which precludes autoconf:
fink show-deps libtool14
Information about 13313 packages read in 4 seconds.
Package: libtool14 (1.5.26-4)
...
To compile this package from source...
The following packages are also compiled at the same time:
libtool14-shlibs (1.5.26-4)
The following other packages (and their dependencies) must be installed:
autoconf
automake1.11
fink (>= 0.24.12-1)
The following other packages must not be installed:
autoconf2.13
In this case the issue is with libtool14, which gets dragged in by libflac8.
I've just updated libtool14, and it may already be available via "fink
selfupdate"
