It's not hard to find, it's just a hard PART to find. Take the piece with the old cloth to your local Hancock fabric store (or am similar store with nice ladies that work on fabrics work). Tell them you need something like "this". The nice lady at my local store found a scrap piece of this material that is very similar in composition, but was teal blue in color. Blue? Ah, what did I care, the dang thing sits down in the door, you'll never see it, and it's only purpose is to provide a soft surface for the window to ride on when rolling up and down. I think I gave them like 75 cents for the scrap piece, cut it up, and contact cemented it into place on each of the 4 guides. Don't over think it. You already had the right answer.
