I installed a set of replacment springs using the exact specs of my car and it 
ended up sitting way to high; however, they were not fully extended to the 
stoppers. I didn't want to wait for them to settle and I was on a budget so I 
cut a coil off and then it was too low. So, I added 2 coil spring risers on 
each spring and it was perfect... at least the ride-height. This time around 
I'm using Hotchkis lowered springs.  Not much help but I feel your pain! Do you 
have pics?
