Just made 3 attempts with no success. THese things leak like a sieve. What a 
joke! Duped by OER seals once again. I took a real good look at these and I 
think the problem, or at least part of the problem, is that they are not thick 
enough. I noticed the housing bottoms out on the mounts before the gasket 
actually comes into contact with the back of the tail panel. So there is no way 
you can get them to properly seal on their own. 
 
Sheen> The paint shop just installed a set of those gaskets on my '68. They go

panel that crosses the middle of each lens. I had the tail panel > replaced, 
and the passenger-side gasket didn't quite seal (slight leak > when you blasted
