In the end, I went with a Craftsman 80-gallon, 5.5 hp, dual stage, cast iron pump for about $850. The Ingersol with the same specs is suppose to be a little better quality but I have not had any issues with mine and Sears has never let me down on service. I had a 60-gallon with aluminum pump and had lots of problems with the head gasket. Sears let me "grade-up" to the 80-gallon since I did it within the 3-month satisfaction guarantee period. If you are painting your car, you will need the 80-gal/5+ hp. Sheen > Hi Guys,> > I saw discussion of air compressors some time back but I wasn't > in the > market then. I need some input.
