When it comes to sizing/fit it doesn't really matter who makes the rings. The
rings [compression & oil] always have to be checked for correct fit.
The same goes for the oil pump; I always disassemble the pump and check the
clearances and fit of the pick-up. It goes w/o saying, the pump is too critical
to assume anything.
