Verry funny. One of them was hitting so bad, I couldn't turn it over. It would 
have been disasterous. 
 
I took a good look at the tray and it is not bent in any way. I used two 
washers to get the clearance. The first was to physically clear the rod bolts 
and the second one for clearance after things heat up. I had to change from 
3/4" long bolts to 1" to have enough meat on the bolt to thread into the main 
caps. All clear! 
 
I recall Kevin used aftermarket rods with his Ohio 455 crank, which may be why 
he didn't have the same problem.
