Holy crazy shifter position options! Check out the diagram on this website: http://www.5speedtransmissions.com/tr-3550.html#Shifter There are several positions you can mount the shifter. Mine is obviously in the 19.51" position. The table says f-body should be in the 16.75". I think I'll still have to do some cutting but at least this will bring it closer. I can't tell from the diagram but it looks like you just flip it 180*. Wish I knew this before putting it in the car, doh!
