Paul - It's a 2001 530i - no parts needed...just had to clean out the leavs,
and then remove coild/plugs and spin out the water!

This is the same starter, before and after... the only assumption that I
have is that the manual and automatic starters are slightly different, but

HIGHLY doubt that is the case.
Sounds like fun times on the BMW, I'm pulling the head on my '95 M3 this
coming week for a headgasket issue... it was my fault... What model was
it?
I've got lots of parts if you need anything cheap!
