Yep Paul;
They got good quality interior and handles well if you like go-cart
style handling, and with a 5 cyl engine they are probably in the $ 40
000 range here in Norway, but they still lack STYLE and SOUL and will
always do as their upnose-hyped sibling Audi. Imagine what the Impala
or G8 or CTS with a Northstar costs, in the $ 120k to 160k range!
Competition? I think not!!
Only a few (wealthy) enthusisats buys these cars, as an MB or BMW of
the same performance and luxury will cost considerably less, mostly
due to smaller engine displacement.
If all Norwegians drove Mercury Grand Marquis of Ford Crown Vics the
death rate would have fell dramatically!!! Large sedans is the way
to go globally, 22 or 28 mpg, does it really matter?!

Bob, from starting be around more European cars, to me it is simple
from a
US stand point... The European cars offer a MUCH better interior
and ride
quality than that of a Japanese or American car. look at the 14k VW
Rabbit
with a 5cyl motor. It has a great interior! what can you get from
the US for
14k? Maybe a Cobalt... that interior SUCKS! Detroit does not make
cars like
they used to.
That's just my thought...
