These shock are not a race shock and provide a much nicer ride that the KYB and better handling too. The bigest difference is the Koni's are not a high pressure gas shock like the KYB and Bilstien design. Not to say KYB can compare to Bilstien. I would recommend the change even though the Koni's are about 2x thew cost. I paid just over $200 including shipping for front and rears last year when I found them on sale.
