This list has been a tremendous benefit in finding answers to questions the manuals don't cover and for just plain talking Firebirds. Are there other options like a Facebook or My Space kind of thing that would allow either postings and other types of communication? I also have a VW, and there's a site, www.thesamba.com that is pretty good. Is there a way to do something like this? There's one guy who keeps the site up, and members kick in donations to help defray his expenses.

It has been about two years since the developers stopped supporting the software which makes this list possible. Mailing lists software development has been on decline as people shift to other media. ISPs keep placing more and more SPAM measures in place which make running a mailing list difficult to impossible. With that said, as long as I can, I will keep the mailing list going but need to make you all aware it has reached end of life. It has been over a decade this list has been up and going so I have no intention of ending it unless ISPs make it impossible.
