That looks fantastic Chris, I'll give them a call.

The only piece of the stock setup is the shroud, so I'm really not too heavily
invested in moving that direction to save any real cash. The only thing I'm
committed to at this point is going aluminum, there's just so many options it's
hard to weed anything out because everyone says why there's is bigger, better,
cooler, etc.

I run the Rodney Red w/ my stock shroud and heavy duty fan clutch. In South
Texas, my temps stay at 185-195 and never gets above 210.

If you already have the stock setup, just put it together and save some
cash. More than likely it will work, and IMHO, looks better too.

Subject: [FGF] Radiators and fans

First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List
.........................................................................

I'm ready to order a radiator for my car. It's a 67 with a 69 400, and a new
700r4. I looked through previous posts and saw that several recommend the
Rodney Red radiator and one someone mentioned to get the electric fan setup
too. However, when I looked at the rodney red website, it does not show an
available electric fan. They even go so far as to say that the stock fan and
shroud are more than adequate in most applications. I have a new GM fan
shroud, but don't mind unloading it if I need to go electric instead, I just
wanted to get a wider set of opinions here. Also, I'll need to get
everything from the pulley forward if I go with a tradional fan, so what
would you guys recommend?
Thanks, KJ
