First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ......................................................................... Yes, all 69 Trans Ams had a system that sealed to the hood. A 69 Firebird could also be had with the Ram Air III or IV engine. It was sealed to the hood also I believe.
The 68 was sealed to the hood, but I believe the scoops came closed and you had to cut them open.
