If your 1968 Ram Air Bird was assembled after a certain date, it received the
round port heads (a Ram Air II). I forget the date, but this is a BIG DEAL to
find a complete Ram Air II original engine! good luck

Ram Air III was the 1969 engine when Ram Air was ordered. The Ram Air IV was a
step up option from the Ram Air III in 1969. The standard engine in 1969 did
not have Ram Air and had a different cam, springs, carb, exhaust manifolds, air
cleaner and no ram air system in the hood.
