Now when you say "URL", do you mean "domain" or "unique page URL" ? -
it sounds like "unique page", but in the new alpha, it seems to act on
a per-domain basis. Which is good.
This is important because, for example if I am developing on a site, I
want Firebug to be either on or off for the entire domain, not for one
specific page.

So far the new alpha seems to have solved most of my complaints
(except for the [x] deactivation/close button, which while I am
getting used to it, it's not getting any less annoying).
