Wow, I really messed that sentence up... I meant to say:

It makes much more sense to me to NOT keep a function that is
generally not recommended for use (as it changes an internal setting
that may be unintended) in the most prime location for clicking to
move an extension's panel out of the way.

I don't think it's being senseless to say that "minimize" is
presumably the MOST used control feature from that part of the panel,
and "off/power down/close" is just a way to kill the whitelist setting
for the current page (which just carries the side effect of Firebug
being immediately unloaded, not vice versa).
