I think I see where the confusion is. That option is working correctly, but it does not help my issue. With that option OFF, I can independantly turn off tabs from the same domain. However, the behavior I need is to have all of the tabs activated at once, but be able to independantly maximize/minimize each tab's Firebug console. Sorry, i should have used the term 'maximize' instead of 'open', originally.
