I don't know your legal system in particular. However, I would have thought
that a tight engagement contract / waiver could take care of most of your
problems - but as Jean Morisette said it's the fighting the action that will
kill you, not the losing.
If you were here, you would want professional liability insurance. Never
mind malpractice - what if you trip over the cord to the mainframe and pull
down the NYSE for a day? However, here it's not that dear - YMMV.
