#1, win2000 is awfully new out there, and problems with default and
'hardened' installs comeup quite frequently at this time, aside from that,
there are somewhere like 800 or so plus open holes in a default install
I've heard, though, there's a script out to help lock them down. But, no
one can at this time have a whole lot of experience with a win2000 setup,
it;s far too new for 'vast experince'.; Also, it takes knowledge and
experience on -=both=- ends of the vpn setup to make a secured connection.
If one side is lacking in experince and knowledge of the Os, it's not
going to be a nice playground. These are my personal issues and all, and
my feeling at this time is that win2k is still a beta product and should
be so treated, it's best suited at this point for internal test networks,
a place to gleen the experience and work out the holes and flaws.
Thanks,
Ron DuFresne

OK, so you're a Ph.D. Just don't touch anything.
