Agreed, the definition of a "hacker" has been sort of skewed due to some
consulting firms making a big deal about "ethical" hacking in the last few
years. WhiteHat, GreyHats, BlackHats. (Almost like Lions, Tigers, and
Bears oh my).. :)

Yes, I agree some of the underlying technical understanding has been lost
in the last 5 or 6 years. I recently asked someone if they knew what -i
switch did in H2n. Their reply "What's H2n??"
