As someone just recently pointed out to be another firewall/web appliance
solution. Netwolves FoxBox, but it has some limitations and according to
the web page and prospectus are really focused on competing against the
Cobalt Networks cube, which again is a different market space than what
Symantec/Axent, NAI, Checkpoint, is in. Of course, this will all change
over the next year, when the bigger players start knocking some of the
smaller players out. As this has been observed in the Firewall space quite
clearly over the last few years. It is slowly being observed in the IDS space.
