  Apologies for the unclear picture. There is no
submarine here, neither any brand name.

  Most ISPs have under the sea uplinked facilities.
These are undersea cables laid on the sea bed. This
guy and me were talking generally about stuff, and he
set me wondering if there is something like a sniffer
available for such underwater internet gateways.

Hope I am clear now.
Do let me know if I am still not clear.
