Assuming it's not a private registration, call or send a letter, I
would think. I'm not very familiar with this kind of thing, but if a
(snail mail) letter is returned undeliverable, maybe there is a way to
get the registration canceled for bad ownership data? Of course it
doesn't solve the squatter thing.

I just skim this list (among many) and realize that bringing this up
after the fact isn't very constructive, so I'm not trying to criticize
Terin here. Migrating to fishshell.com is probably the easiest way
forward, along with getting other organizational details worked out -
I know there are several git repositories going, but is there anyone
who is clearly doing the most work or would otherwise be qualified to
become the project leader? It would be nice to make a minor release,
if only just as a morale booster/symbol that development is moving
again.
