Actually only 2 of Ola Gik's direct offspring are NFHR registered. All of the rest of the offspring shown are there because they are in the pedigrees of other NFHR registered horses down the line. Here is a not so well known tip for using the pedigree site. If you want to see NFHR registered horses only in a search just put a -

-

that is a dash character in the search box for the NFHR Registration number. All of the numbers have a dash in them and then not registered ones are blank so you will only get NFHR registered horses this way.

Yes there is. When the data was entered in the database originally only NFHR registered horses had the color recorded. This was because in most cases we didn't know the color at the time. I spent some time yesterday on the Norwegian pedigree site 7 entered the colors for all of Ola Gik's offspring that they have recorded. I think there are still 2 without colors but that is what is available.
