You are the second person to say this (Darron Schall being the first), and I hope you are right, but it does **directly** contradict the manual. The manual states that to us AMF/Remoting that you must have flex enterprise server. They dont mention supporting their existing Flash Remoting product. In fact without mentioning it by name, they make it clear that the only way to do this is Flex Enterprise Services. So, I desparately want to be wrong. I want to believe that you can do remoting, today, without FES. So my question is... have you tried to do so. You say its possible, but I am wondering if you have actually written any code.. If you say yes, I will believe you. But then I will ask for a code snippet. I want to do some flex stuff right away, but I must be able to attach to my current AMF based infrastructure and I dont want to wait or pay for Enterprise Services.
