Hmm, I feel like there should be a way to seek by time without cuepoints. I mean if I play it locally in MediaClassicPlayer on windows, their seek bar works fine. Very strange.

Um. I am not sure dynamically, but my experience is to make your cue points in your movie then export your movie. Import that into flash flv maker and it will read the cue points in your movie and will display them so you can assign them var names. Been a while though and I was working in AS2.
