If I can express my opinion about the broken/unbroken arc issue. I'm with you and think I end preferring the unbroken (first version). This is after some hours of sleep and seeing the two in comparision. But for not going to much far, I think we get the contest and not invest more time until we know clearly if this way would the one to continue evolving. I only will think in a square icon and report here if get something interesting.
