This is incredible frustrating. I have been playing with Flex on and off for quite a while now. I've done many tutorials and can see the potential and really want to try my hand at this. But here I am trying to set up my first non-tutorial project and I can not get past the second dialog box.
Is there anywhere that actually discusses this process with actual explanations of what the various values mean and what they should be. For example. I am in the new project wizard. I have previously selected ColdFusion Flash Remoting Service. I am now asked for the ColdFusion information. I am not working on with a local ColdFusion server. I have a separate development CF server. So I uncheck "use local ColdFusion server." So what the is the "Root Folder" really. Do I really want to build all my future Flex aps from the samples folder in the fds2 directory? How does the Root URL relate to this?
