I've got some comments about this. #1 - the "Use local coldfusion server" checkbox makes a lot of assumptions that aren't always correct. Port numbers, file paths, etc. Plus, the "local coldfusion server" might actually use IIS not the internal web server. #2 - look at the examples the other two options on that dialog. Root Folder and Root URL. Well, if you're not using the local coldfusion server, those examples don't help a lot. Not only that, if you're creating a coldfusion remoting project, why would the example for the flex root be a flex data services root directory? As an "example" that's not even relevant to a Coldfusion Remoting project. *NOTHING* on that manual page tells you what to do if you're developing apps for a remote coldfusion server. rick ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| ColdFusion MX7 and Flex 2 Build sales & marketing dashboard RIAâs for your business.
